About SSLN9

This non-medical informal, Stroke Survivors Group was formed in November 2022. To give conversation and experience exchange opportunities with the potential of further self-help benefits.

SSLN9 stands for:

  "Stroke Survivors LN9 (PostCode)

 

By local, we mean Horncastle and the Surrounding LN9 and its bordering Lincolnshire areas.

AIM

The overarching aim of the group is to give local area, Stroke Survivors, the chance to meet up with other local Stroke Survivors and Carers.

The wider aim is to provide a self-help platform and common interest to aid social confidence and interest and all the benefits that come with it.

Location/Timings.  This will be subject to the interest shown. At present, we meet in the Community Centre, Horncastle. the first Thursday of each month.  There is a cost of £2.00 per Stroke Survivor to cover Venue costs.  We start at 1015, and finish at 1245, with a 20min coffee break at some point between.

​

Conclusion.  So, if of mild or strong interest, get in touch.  We are registered with The Stoke Association Network.
